Happy Birthday to Me!

Well Happy 62nd Birthday to me LOL Yep it has finally happened. I have officially become a Senior Citizen, unless of course they pivot the goal post again. Seems like they’re pushing the senior moniker to 65 now, I am starting to see many places using the term 65 as the new senior age.   While that may be okay because hey not being called a Senior is kind of a nice thing I am tired of the post being moved.  Every since I was about to turn 18 when they moved the drinking age to 21 just as I was hitting 18 (pissed me off) in the 70s you were considered a Senior at the age of 55.  But as they would have it nope, you’re not consider a senior until you’re 62.  Well I am 62 now!

To be honest it’s a bit amazing to be 62, It just seems like yesterday I was 10 years old thinking about what my life would be like when I reach this age and now here I am! LOL

Turning 62 Hmm… yes, sixty-two. I remember, quite clearly, being ten years old and talking with friends and family about what the world would be like by the time I reached this age. How many of us did that back in the 1970s? I know I did. Back then, sixty-two felt impossibly far away. Adults would tell us, “Don’t wish your life away it’ll get here faster than you think.” Turns out, they weren’t wrong. Not even a little. As of the moment I’m writing this, I’m not technically sixty-two yet that’s still two short months away. And of course, this year isn’t a leap year (LOL), so no bonus day for me. This is a good time to remind ourselves to leave DNA tracing websites alone, because I would throw up turning myself inside out, if I ever discovered I was related to any of these thugs? They are a simple waste of the human skin they invade. And what’s more scary to me is that piece of trash McConnell is from Kentucky the state my late mother was born. I pray that the Universe doesn’t land a terrible joke on my doorstep. Because the Republican Party today is nothing more than the shit stains from Trump’s diarrhea!
